Our Beginner to Intermediate CLINICS on Monday nights have been a wonderful hit! Therefore, we are going to continue them for the next couple of months at least.
Beginner/intermediate clinic details!
Fee = $10 per person per clinic
Clinics dates continued:
Monday February 6th – 8:30-10 pm - Passing, Attacking (hitting) and class choice!
Monday February 13th – 8:30-10 pm – Setting in play, Passing to setter during play, attacking for those who want the practice.
Monday February 20th & 27th – 8:30-10 pm – TBD – these skills choices will be guided by the classes needs
Monday March 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th – 8:30-10 pm - TBD – these skills choices will be guided by the classes needs
Clinic details: These clinics are geared toward both beginners and intermediate players (C.V.C. would refer to these players as our “REC” and “B” level players/leagues). You will be guided by skilled and knowledgeable advanced players in a calm and friendly atmosphere prepared specifically for these skill levels to help you understand and execute not only the basic fundamental understanding of the game and its positions, but also the specific skills and how you can best execute them. These are the basics that even seasoned players sometimes review in order to stay at the top of their game. As in all sports, knowing the fundamentals gives you a strong foundation on which to build your personal skills, allowing you to get the best of your personal experience playing.
Clinics will begin with some instruction, introduction to that days teachings, move into examples and drills for you to use alone and with other players both during this clinic and on your own and sometimes conclude with actually play during which you can practice what you’ve just learned. It’s fun, good exercise and will give you a great opportunity to make your volleyball experience more fun, whether you are a beginner or an intermediate player looking to better your game.
These clinics are open to everyone, however the skill levels taught here will be geared as we explained; more toward beginners and intermediate players. Advanced clinics will be offered down the road.
Although we prefer to know in advance that you are going to attend, we welcome drop-ins if there is availability as we understand you may not know ahead of time if you can attend.
